  The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC), represented by the Radiation and Chemical Protection Department, participated in the meeting of the Arab-Asian countries on the sideline of the 66th International Atomic Energy Association (IAEA) General Conference in Vienna, Austria. During the meeting, Qatar reviewed its experiences and success in co-ordinating regional, national projects and technical co-operation projects, in addition to the accomplished progress in recent years in using nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.
