Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), in co-ordination with the Mauritanian Red Crescent, activated its Disaster Information Management Centre (DIMC) on August 3 in an emergency response to the recent flooding disaster in Mauritania. Such a move aims to gather real-time information and get updates on the humanitarian situation in the area, according to QRCS.
