Willits Center for the Arts presents Jenny Watts and Abigail Summers for an afternoon of music on Sunday, Aug. 7 at 2 p.m. at 71 E. Commercial St. (next to the Noyo Theater). Both Jenny and Abigail are former residents of Willits. Jenny and her husband, Dave, came to Willits in 1981, owning and operating Sanhedrin Nursery for 37 years. Jenny taught piano for over 30 years and accompanied Allen Garcia and Ann Post in concerts throughout the county. She played piano in the musicals of “Grease,” “Oliver,” and “Gypsy.” Abigail Summers was born in England and learned the cello at an early age. She moved to California in 1988 and lived off the grid on a mountain southwest of Willits with her forme
