The nine-day Corniche Street closure began Friday. The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) had recently announced a temporary road closure in both directions of Corniche Street, from July 8 to 16, between Sheraton Intersection and Al Meena Intersection. The closure is being implemented in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic to complete the Corniche Street upgrade works. Road users heading to Sheraton and Al Meena intersections should use the road leading to Al Bidda Street while following the traffic directional signs to reach their destination.
