To the Editor: I was saddened to read in the paper of the passing of my friend annd co-worker Lillian Pacini. She was the head nurse in the ICU at Ukiah Adventist Hospital, and I was the LVN under her. She was loved by all, doctors and everyone and always made the unit pleasant. This letter is to let her daughter Mrs. Ford know I remember you from Ukiah Beauty College. You taught the students, and many times finished my hair when they could not. Laura went to school with my daughter and Lisa with my son. This is a small town. I’m 91 now so please excuse the spelling and scribbling. Jennie Ward Barker Ukiah
