According to results posted online by the Mendocino County Elections Office at 8:06 p.m. June 7, Kendall had received 2,536 votes (94.84 percent), while write-in candidate Trent James had received 138, or 5.16 percent. Another county-wide race is for Mendocino County Superintendent of Schools, and early results had current superintendent Michelle Hutchins trailing challenger Nicole Glentzer.
