    South Kanara Muslim Welfare Association, a forum of Indian expatriates from the southern part of Karnataka state, elected Abdul Razak Puttur as new president for 2022-24 at the 29th annual general body meeting. Other officer-bearers are: Abdul Kasim Udupi, Mohammed Shareef (vice presidents), Mohammed Imran Bantwal (general secretary), Ismail M N (joint secretary), Abdul Nasir Ullal (treasurer), Afzal Jameel (joint treasurer), Shameer Mahin, Mansoor, Sathar, Imthiaz and Imran (event secretaries).
