To raise the overall standard of recitation among Islamic students, to encourage them memorise the Holy Qur’an and to increase their acquaintance with the holy book, the department of Arabic & Islamic studies at MES Indian School recently organised a virtual intra-school competitions in Islamic quiz, Qur’an recitation and memorisation. The competitions were conducted in three categories: sub-junior, junior and seniors for both boys and girls. Around 500 students from class I to class XII participated in the competitions.
