The former Holiday Baking Championship judge, who also spent years appearing on Halloween Baking Championship, reportedly has no plans to return to Food Network, according to a new report.
In a Nov. 7 exclusive report from The U.S. Sun, an unnamed insider claimed that Hall is focusing on television opportunities outside the network and is not currently discussing future Food Network projects.
The source reportedly characterized the situation as a business decision rather than the result of a personal dispute.
However, neither Hall nor Food Network has publicly confirmed that their professional relationship has permanently ended.
Carla Hall Has Been a Familiar Face on Food Network’s Baking Competitions
Hall, who first gained widespread recognition as a contestant on Top Chef, became a fan favorite through her appearances on Food Network’s baking competitions.
She previously served as a judge on Holiday Baking Championship before Kardea Brown joined the panel alongside Duff Goldman and Nancy Fuller.
Hall was also a longtime judge on Halloween Baking Championship, but announced in August that she would not be returning for the show’s 2026 season. Aarti Sequeira subsequently joined the judging panel.
The reported end of Hall’s relationship with Food Network comes amid other changes to the network’s popular baking competitions.
Fuller was absent from the Season 13 premiere of Holiday Baking Championship on Nov. 2, with Molly Yeh joining Goldman and Brown as a judge.
Yeh’s own future on the competition has since become the subject of speculation, with a recent report claiming Food Network has not decided whether to bring her back for another season.
While those reports have raised questions about the network’s plans for its baking shows, Food Network has not publicly confirmed the alleged decisions about Hall’s or Yeh’s future.
Meanwhile, Hall is continuing her television career outside Food Network. She is set to appear on Fox’s Next Level Baker, which premieres Nov. 19.
For now, the latest report suggests Hall’s Food Network chapter may be over, although an official announcement has yet to be made.
