The Hollywood Christmas Parade is preparing to celebrate its 94th anniversary, and two familiar television faces will be leading the festivities this year.
Entertainment Tonight co-hosts Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner have been named co-grand marshals of the 2026 Hollywood Christmas Parade Supporting Marine Toys for Tots, which will take place Sunday, Nov. 29, in Hollywood, California.
The annual holiday tradition will feature thousands of participants, celebrity appearances, musical performances, elaborate floats and larger-than-life balloons before Santa Claus and his reindeer make their highly anticipated appearance.
“We’re thrilled to be chosen as co-Grand Marshals of this year’s Hollywood Christmas Parade!” Frazier and Turner said in a joint statement. “It’s an honor to be part of this historic Hollywood tradition that brings so much joy to the community. We can’t wait to see the smiling faces of Angelenos who come out each year to celebrate and support Toys for Tots.”
Frazier has been a fixture at Entertainment Tonight for more than two decades, first joining the syndicated entertainment news program in 2004 before returning as co-host in 2014. He also spent 13 years co-hosting CBS’s coverage of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Turner joined Entertainment Tonight in 2014 and made history in 2021 when she became the first Black woman to serve as co-host of the program. An 11-time Emmy Award winner, she has covered some of Hollywood’s biggest events, including the Grammy Awards, Golden Globes and Academy Awards.

The Hollywood Christmas Parade Inspired a Beloved Holiday Song
The Hollywood Christmas Parade has been a Southern California holiday tradition since 1928, when it was known as the Santa Claus Lane Parade. Over the decades, it has welcomed an impressive roster of grand marshals, including Bob Hope, Dick Van Dyke, John Wayne, James Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Olivia Newton-John and William Shatner.
But one of the parade’s most enduring contributions to Christmas history came courtesy of country music legend Gene Autry.
While riding his horse along Hollywood Boulevard during the 1946 parade, Autry reportedly heard children excitedly shouting, “Here comes Santa Claus!” The experience inspired him to write “Here Comes Santa Claus (Right Down Santa Claus Lane)” with Oakley Haldeman.
Autry first recorded the song in 1947, and it became a holiday favorite, reaching No. 5 on the country chart and No. 9 on the pop chart. Today, the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue, along the parade route, is known as Gene Autry Square in honor of the legendary entertainer.
