ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Neighbors voiced concerns at a community meeting Monday night about a proposed Taco Bell in Rochester’s North Winton Village.
People gathered at Covenant United Methodist Church on Culver Road, where they saw renderings of the project planned for the corner of Culver Road and East Main Street. Representatives of the North Winton Village Association said they had concerns about the project.
“A lot of people brought up the walkability and bikeability of the traffic, especially with the high school kitty-corner from there and an existing drive-thru across the street. Safety concerns, security concerns, and the aesthetic overall isn’t what we would look for in our neighborhood and what they’ve done in the past for other more affluent areas,” said, Giuliana Pietrantoni co-chair of the association.
The North Winton Village Association planned to gather community feedback and present it to the developers and the city.
