Electronic musician DJ Moby sold his Los Feliz property in 2018, two years after purchasing it for $3.4 million and having it undergo major renovations.
Moby, known for his hits “Play” and “Porcelain,” acquired Red Oak Manor in 2016. During his ownership, the English Tudor estate that featured 4,644-square-foot of living space underwent renovations that modernized the property while preserving its original architectural character.
According to Variety, via The Spaces, Moby added “white-walls, hardwood floors and bespoke cabinetry” to the home’s 1920s features such as “vaulted ceilings and wood burning fireplaces.”
Located in the exclusive Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, the estate was sold to actor Leonardo DiCaprio for $4.91 million, marking a $1.51 million increase over Moby’s original purchase price. It is unknown, however, how much Moby spent for the renovations.

The two-story Los Angeles property also includes a free-form swimming pool and an outdoor living area with seating and a dining space. Inside, the upper floors house a yoga studio and four bedrooms. Separate staff quarters, located in the corner of the house, feature a private entrance and a steam room.
The gated and walled property features a newly covered patio with several outdoor seating areas, surrounded by evergreen trees. Flagstone surrounds the swimming pool, which also features a spa amenity.
For what it’s worth, while the Grammy nominated musician sold the Los Feliz home, he still had another home in the area.
