* AFFECTED AREA…Santa Clarita Valley, Santa Susana Mountains and Western San Gabriel Mountains and Highway 14 Corridor.
* TIMING…Until 6 PM PDT this evening.
* WINDS…Northeast to east 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 25 to 40 mph, gradually diminishing later this afternoon into evening.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…Minimums of 10 to 20 percent common.
* IMPACTS…If fire ignition occurs, conditions are favorable for extreme fire behavior which would threaten life and property.
