ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Park Avenue Harvest Walk brought together neighbors and local businesses Saturday as fall festivities continued in Rochester.
Those along Park Avenue displayed creative scarecrows, and visitors voted for their favorite one while also getting a chance to win a Park Avenue gift basket. Organizers said the event is a yearly tradition that helps connect the community.
“We actually do this every year, but we give out pumpkins to all the neighborhood that walks by, and it’s to get to know some of our people in the neighborhood,” said Brandon Weeks, a representative from Nor Char Real Estate.
Kids were invited to wear costumes and trick-or-treat along the street, adding to the festive atmosphere.
