When AllDay Project sat down for a backstage interview with Billboard, you could immediately tell they were different from the rest of the pack. Not just because they’re coed, a rarity among South Korean groups (AllDay Project is made up of three women and two men), but their style isn’t what you typically see in a South Korean pop group. While many boy bands and girl groups wear similarly tailored outfits that exist within the same color palette, each member of AllDay Project has a distinct, individualistic fashion sense.

“More than the fact that it’s coed, all five of us come from very different backgrounds,” says Annie. “We’re very different people to begin with and we have different strengths and weaknesses and that’s what makes us very special in my personal opinion. We’re just like five best friends chasing one dream together. I’m so grateful I get to do my job with my best friends.”
AllDay Project was in Hong Kong to perform at the second annual TMElive International Music Awards (Aug. 22-23). Aside from enjoying some Hong Kong egg tarts and milk tea, they rocked the crowd at Kai Tak Stadium with their debut single “Famous” (which Billboard named one of the best K-pop songs of 2025), among other hits. The fresh-faced group said that “Famous” felt different for them even during the recording session.
“’Famous’ really means a lot to us,” said Bailey. “It connects with us on a deeper level for sure. It feels super authentic sonically and lyrically as well. The whole time we were making this song, we were hoping we could connect with people the way it connected with us.”
For AllDay Project, finding inspiration as a group isn’t tough – particularly since they spend so much time together. “Whenever we’re not working we choose to hang out with each other,” says Annie. “Something new always comes up.”
“We just generally love to be stupid,” Tarzzan says about hanging out together. “Like a child.”
