PITTSFORD, N.Y. — A new sculpture called Terrafly now stands in Pittsford as a gift from the Dogra Art Foundation.
The foundation’s founder, Vikram Dogra, said the piece is meant to celebrate life and unity.
After collecting art for decades, Dogra and his family chose to donate the sculpture to Pittsford, hoping it will become a place for people to gather and connect. “What bigger joy will I have than seeing that my own community is enjoying it? Nothing will make me more happy,” Dogra said.
Dogra thanked his family and the Pittsford community for their support, saying the project was a true collaboration.
The sculpture is located at King’s Bend Park on West Jefferson Road and now invites residents to sit, reflect and celebrate together.
