While Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars is just underway, fans are already eyeing future contestants.
After a video posted by the DWTS Instagram account in which actress and audience member Jennifer Love Hewitt expressed her excitement about being in the ballroom — and also promoted her own ABC show premiering next week — fans immediately took to the comments, campaigning for her to join next season.
“I’m at Dancing with the Stars, freaking out, it’s so cool,” she said before mentioning that Season 10 of 9-1-1 will be out soon.
View this post on InstagramFans then flooded the comments, suggesting she get her dancing shoes ready for Season 36.
“OMG Jennifer Love Hewitt, can you be on Dancing with the Stars next year?” one wrote.
“YOU NEED TO BE ON NEXT SEASON JENNIFER!!” added another.
“Need to see her as a contestant in the ballroom so bad,” said a third.

Other fans also suggested that Hewitt’s 9-1-1 co-star, Ryan Guzman, join the lineup as well.
“Jenn, you and Ryan HAVE to go on Dancing with the Stars asap,” one said.
“Starting my petition to cast her and Ryan Guzman next season,” added another
A few other fans even suggested pairing her with pro Alan Bersten, since the two are already friends.
“She would do amazing, and people really resonate with her,” he told Parade of Hewitt as a potential competitor on the show, in an exclusive interview last year.
And the fans’ push may actually work since the Party of Five star expressed interest in joining the show in 2019 in an interview with ET.

Not to mention, if the number of Season 35’s millennial-favorite contestants is any sign, her chance of joining the show could be pretty high.
Currently, actress Julia Stiles from 2001’s Save the Last Dance and 1999’s 10 Things I Hate About You, Tatyana Ali from 90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Jenna Dewan from Step Up, are all still in the competition.
90s heartthrob Taylor Hanson was also on the show but was eliminated last week. ? SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox ?
