ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The driver of the tour bus that overturned on I-490 west in Chili in 2024 and killed one person is facing charges.

Tracy Wallace, 57, of Long Island, is charged with manslaughter, and assault in the second and third degrees. Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies and members of the United States Marshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force traveled to Long Island and executed an indictment warrant.
28 people total were hurt as a result of the bus crash. The bus left from New York City around midnight on Nov. 7, 2024, and was headed to Niagara Falls, making stops along the Thruway to pick up and drop off passengers.
Wallace was arraigned and remanded to the Monroe County Jail on $10,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
