A frightening scene unfolded at a west suburban high school on Monday when an electric vehicle caught fire, authorities revealed.
Oak Park village officials said the fire spread to several other cars in the parking garage at Fenwick High School, though no one was inside the garage at the time.
Video from the scene showed smoke pouring out of the parking structure, where officials reported the fire had occurred on the third floor. No one was injured.
