A crash prompted police to block a busy north suburban during the afternoon rush hour on Tuesday, video showed.
A crash occurred around 4:48 p.m. near Golf Road and Woods Drive in Morton Grove, police said.
Skokie police were sent to the scene to assist Morton Grove police with the emergency response, including blocking the road.
Around 5:15 p.m., video posted to social media showed police blocking part of Golf Road in Skokie near the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center, that is located at 9603 Woods Drive and temporarily closed for renovations.
Vehicles were able to drive onto Woods Drive, but a police car could be seen blocking Gold Road at the intersection.
As of 6:10 p.m., the blockage remained ongoing, according to Total Traffic.
