Titmus and Powell got engaged last week in Mykonos, Greece, while celebrating her birthday around the islands. The couple have been together for about two years, first going public with their relationship at the Australian Open in January 2025.
One of the top swimmers in the world over the last few years, Titmus won eight Olympic medals across two Olympic Games, including four golds, three silvers and one bronze. She made her Olympic debut at the Tokyo Games in 2021, where she won gold in the women’s 200 free and 400 free. She also picked up a silver medal in the women’s 800 free and helped secure the bronze medal in the women’s 4×200 freestyle relay.
At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Titmus successfully defended her title in the 400 free and won gold in the 4×200 freestyle relay, in addition to bringing home silver medals in both the 200 free and 800 free.
Aside from her Olympic success, Titmus won nine World Championship medals, three Pan Pacific Championship medals and eight Commonwealth Games medals over the course of her career, giving her a sizable hardware collection.
Titmus holds the World Record in the women’s 200 free with a time of 1:52.23, which she set at the 2024 Australian Olympic Trials. She is also a part of Australia’s World Record-setting 4×200 free relay team from the 2023 World Championships, where Titmus, Mollie O’Callaghan, Shayna Jack and Brianna Throssell clocked a time of 7:37.50.
Titmus retired from competitive swimming in October 2025, expressing excitement to turn her attention towards other aspects of her life.
Since retiring, Titmus has taken up different speaking and presenting roles. She joined Australia’s Channel Seven at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow as a reporter on the pool deck and is the host of the latest season of “What’s Up Downunder”, a travel documentary show focusing on Australian caravanning.
