Sisters Grier Stokley and Lauren Stokley have announced their commitment to continue their academic and athletic careers at Indiana State beginning in fall 2027. The two both currently swim for London Aquatic Club out of London, Ontario.
Lauren Stokley
“I’m extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic endeavours at Indiana State University! Thank you Mom, Dad, Grier, my coaches, my teammates, Coach Josh and everyone else who has supported me along the way. ROLL TREES! ”
Lauren most recently swam at Canadian Trials at the start of July where she swam to a lifetime best 2:34.01 200 breast for 3rd as well as a lifetime best 4:57.83 400 IM for 7th. She also was 17th in the 100 breast (1:13.51).
Lauren’s Best LCM (With SCY Converted Times) Are:
200 breast: 2:34.01 (2:15.14) 100 breast: 1:12.81 (1:03.79) 400 IM: 4:57.83 (4:22.54)Based on her best converted times, Lauren would have been 3rd in the 200 breast, 8th in the 100 breast, and 5th in the 400 IM at the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Championships. Ali Pearson led the team in the 200 breast with a lifetime best 2:13.42 to touch 2nd at the 2026 MVC Championships.
Grier Stokley
Grier also most recently competed at Canadian Trials where she was highlighted by a 7th place finish in the 200 fly as she touched in a 2:17.98 lifetime best. She also was 11th in the 400 IM, 13th in the 100 fly, 14th in the 200 IM, and 32nd in the 50 fly.
Grier’s Best LCM (With SCY Converted Times) Are:
200 fly: 2:17.98 (2:01.78) 100 fly: 1:02.83 (55.34) 400 IM: 5:00.27 (4:24.74) 200 IM: 2:20.41 (2:03.61)Based on her best converted times, Grier would have been 6th in the 200 fly, 7th in the 400 IM, and on the border of the ‘A’ and ‘B’ final in the 100 fly at the MVC Championships. Haley Halsall led the team in the 200 fly with a 1:59.82 for 2nd at the MVC Championships.
The Indiana State women captured the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference title with 1236 points and sent Grace Cummings to the 2026 NCAA Championships where she finished 15th in the 1650 free to score two points.
