On Friday, the Missouri Tigers announced “record-setting sponsorship growth” for their athletic programs for the 2026-27 campaigns.
This growth includes a jersey patch sponsorship from Ambetter Health, and naming rights to both Faurot Field’s North End Zone premium club and South End Zone premium space, among other sponsorships.
“In less than three years, we have more than doubled our sponsorship revenue with over 130% growth, establishing significant NIL resources to help our teams secure the talent to compete for championships,” Laird Veach, Mizzou’s Director of Athletics Laird Veach, said in a press release. “That investment reflects the momentum and strength of the Mizzou brand and demonstrates the value we’re creating for our partners.”
Missouri says its “most visible examples of growth are expanded collaborations with corporate partners that have increased their investment to become Diamond Club members, Mizzou’s premier partner program.” The first “expanded collaboration” listed is the one with Ambetter Health, whose patch sponsorship includes “football and Olympic sport jersey(s).”
“It’s been an honor to partner with Laird and his team to drive significant sponsorship growth from both Missouri-based businesses and national brand partners,” said Cole Gahagan, President and CEO of Learfield, in Mizzou’s press release. “This growth reflects the strength of the Mizzou brand, the strategic approach to adopt new opportunities, and the value of our partnership.”
The Tigers host the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions in their first game at the recently renovated Faurot Field on Thursday, Sept. 3 (8:00 p.m. E.T., SEC Network).
