Police in south suburban Harvey are investigating after a man was found bound and gagged on the porch of a home, authorities said.
Harvey police located the man, who is believed to be in his late 30s or early 40s, after responding to a call in the 15500 block of Loomis.
Officers immediately requested medical assistance, and the victim was transported to an area hospital. Authorities said he is a dialysis patient and was brought there to ensure he received appropriate care.
Harvey police said they determined the victim was allegedly robbed in Chicago, restrained and bound before being taken to Harvey and being left on the porch of a home.
