Chicago police are investigating after one person was killed and two others were injured when shots were fired during an argument on Friday night in the Englewood neighborhood.
The shooting was reported at around 9:42 p.m. in the 700 block of West 73rd Street.
Police said three victims were outside when they were involved in an argument with an unknown offender. That individual produced a firearm and opened fire toward the victims.
No other injuries were reported, according to authorities.
A 34-year-old man was shot multiple times and taken to an area hospital, where he later died. A second victim, a 50-year-old man, sustained a gunshot wound to the back and a graze wound to the right arm. He was listed in fair condition at an area hospital.
A third victim, a 20-year-old man, sustained a gunshot wound to the left thigh and was also said to be in fair condition.
Area One detectives are investigating.
