Gardner-Johnson, 28, is entering Year 8 of his NFL career. It is his first season in Buffalo.
The Bills signed Gardner-Johnson on a 1-year, $6 million contract in March. Gardner-Johnson has frequently been on the move after playing his first three seasons with the New Orleans Saints.
Gardner-Johnson’s 2025 season began as a member of the Houston Texans. He was released, however, after starting the team’s first 3 games. He spent a week on the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad before being released again.
