Each show is so different because who is in the space and sharing space with us and giving us energy is so different. It’s like, ‘Oh, the body keeps the score,” she said.
With themes of mental health, academics, gender, wealth and more, Edebiri speaks about what it’s like working with Cheadle for The New York Times. “Working together has been even cooler than we imagined. Even in that first reading, I was like, ‘Oh, why do I feel like we know each other or something?’”
