Temperatures
According to the EMA, maximum temperatures in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will reach 36C until midweek, then drop to 35C on Wednesday and Thursday.
Maximum temperatures along the northern coast will range between 30-31C, reaching 37-38C in Upper Egypt, and up to 41C in southern Upper Egypt.
The high humidity will make temperatures feel two to four degrees Celsius higher than those recorded in the shade.
Fog and wind
Weather maps warn of fog formation between four AM and eight AM on some roads leading to and from northern Egypt, Greater Cairo, the Suez Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution, especially during the early morning hours.
Satellite imagery indicated intermittent wind activity across most of the country throughout the week.
The EMA urged citizens to follow weather forecasts regularly, avoid direct sun exposure during peak hours, and drink plenty of water and fluids.
