This takes down her previous mark of 4:37.02 that she posted to win last year’s iteration of the meet. She was 15 years old then and 16 years of age now.

Tonight’s performance shows Smith’s remarkable consistency to produce elite times in the event. It just missed her own British age record of 4:35.18, which she picked up at the 2026 AP Race London in May.
