Funeral services for Mr. Brady Len Bowden, age 37 of the Hiwassee community, will be held on Friday June 19, 2026 at 1:00pm from the chapel of Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown. Trent Stanley will officiate and interment will follow in the Evans-Bowden Cemetery in Hiwassee. Visitation will be held on Friday June 19, 2026 from 11:00am until service time at 1pm.
Mr. Bowden passed away on Monday June 15, 2026 in Sumner County from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Brady was born November 11, 1988 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Mary Frances Howard Bowden. After graduating high school, Brady went on to become a mechanic and worked also in construction. He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family and his strong work ethic. It has been said that he could fix anything that needed repairing and was always willing to help a friend in need. Brady was preceded in death by his uncles; Josh Evans and Brandon Howard.
He is survived by his sons; Evan Paul Bowden and Ryder James Vickers-Bowden; Mother, Mary Bowden-Evans; father, Jimmy Glen “Jimbo” Evans; Twin Sister, Brandy Bowden; Brother, Larry Paul Bowden; Sister, Jennifer Lynn Stanley; Nieces Layla Marye Bass-Bowden and Evalynn Grace Bowden- Bell; Aunts, Debbie Howard and Regina Brewington.
Pallbearers will be Jake Tondreau, Brad Bell, Cody Randall, Justin Hulse, Carlos Shannon and Payton Cooley with Larry Paul Bowden serving as horary pallbearer.
