It’s clear that Bhuvneshwar isn’t fussed about a return. He played 229 matches for India across formats in a 10-year span. He featured in 7 ICC events: the Champions Trophy, the T20 World Cup and the ODI World Cup. Bhuvneshwar did all he could. The veteran quick considers himself lucky and continues to push himself, but if he doesn’t wear the blue jersey again, so be it.
“I have played; I have done what I had to do. If I hadn’t played, I would have been dying to be asked to play a match. I think it’s a big thing to play for India; I won’t say it’s a small thing; I’m one of the lucky ones that I have played,” he added.
