From Bantam Bagels and Pipcorn to Brazi Bites and Kodiak Cakes, the sharks have helped skyrocket some of my favorite brands, landing them squarely in my shopping cart. However, there is one brand that I don't think we're talking about enough, and it’s high time we change that.
Incredifulls, originally pitched as Pizza Cupcakes in the tank, were an immediate buy for me when they first graced my screen. Up until recently, though, I hadn’t had them again since I was influenced to order them nearly five years ago.

What Is Special About Pizza Cupcakes?

It’s hard to describe exactly what it is that makes a Pizza Cupcake special, but I’ll try to distill it into a coherent string of words as best I can. Aside from the quality of the toppings and the general ease of preparation, the secret sauce to the Pizza Cupcake is the delectable sourdough-brioche hybrid shell. It’s a conundrum of textures, and it tastes like it was made fresh straight out of the oven. It’s buttery and rich but also light enough that you won’t feel guilty about eating three at a time. Honestly, you could fill this dough with anything and it would taste amazing.

Aside from a huge jump in sales after the show, the Pizza Cupcake found its way to the freezer aisle at grocers like Kroger, Target, Walmart and even Costco. They’ve also changed their name from Pizza Cupcake to Incredifulls, indicating that the brand has plans to stuff their mouthwatering cupcakes with even more exciting fillings.

I Tried Pizza Cupcakes—Here's My Honest Review
Courtesy Kenn C. Bivins
Due to the overwhelming response from being on the show and lingering COVID logistics, it took an entire month for them to reach me. It also cost me a whopping $38.99, including shipping.
With that in mind, when I found out you could find them at Target, I jumped at the opportunity to grab a box and see if they were actually as good as I remembered. Spoiler: they absolutely were. After grabbing a 4-pack box of Margherita Incredifulls (as they’re now called) for $3.49, I popped them into the oven for about 13 minutes. They emerged from the oven golden and bubbling with melty mozzarella, and I couldn’t even wait for them to cool all the way down before digging in.
That being said, if I had to make any changes, I’d ask for a little more sauce. They don’t exactly eat dry, but similar to how a mozzarella stick is better dipped in marinara sauce, these would be too. Luckily, that’s an easy fix if you keep a jar of Rao’s on hand like yours truly.
Would I Buy It Again?
Yes.
