June 4-7, 2026 Ocala, FL LCM (50 meters) Meet Mobile “2026 FL SZSS Sectional Championships” Meet Central Day 1 Recap Day 2 Recap Day 3 RecapIn his first long course meet since the 2024 World Championships, Ahmed Hafnaoui posted a 15:27.40. He has been as fast as a 14:31.54 that he swam to win the 2023 World Championship title. This was his 2nd race of the weekend as he also swam in prelims of the 400 free (3:55.43).
Also earning a win on the men’s side was Logan Robinson who touched in a 2:02.12 in the 200 fly, off his best of a 1:58.28. Robinson battled with Nicolas Kokidko who was 2nd in a 2:02.56. ‘
Walter Kueffer dropped 0.56 off his lifetime best in the 100 free as he won in a 51.00. Kueffer swims collegiately for Florida State and went four for four in lifetime bests this weekend. Giulian Martin won the 100 breast earlier this weekend and earned the win in the 200 breast tonight with a 2:18.40.
The final win came from Anthony Pineiro who touched in a 2:05.74 in the 200 back, about a second add from his best of a 2:04.59.
On the girls side, Karrington Hansen swam to another win and lifetime best this weekend, winning the 1500 free in a 16:50.01. That dropped 40 seconds off her previous best of a 17:31.17 from April 2025. That was the last time she swam the event.
15 year old Jianna Amores won the 100 fly earlier this weekend and swam to another win as she touched in a 2:17.03 in the 200 fly, a 1.93 second drop. Two 16 year olds battled it out in the 100 free as Veronica Metz touched in a 57.70 and Laila Harran swam to a 57.83.
Alabama commit Eva Whitehead swam to the win in the 200 breast with a 2:37.36, about a second off her lifetime best 2:36.33 from last summer.
Stella Belmore won the 200 back in a 2:19.14, a 0.03 second drop. She is only 15 years old and touched ahead of Mary Kate Kupsky (2:20.55).
