Levine, a cofounder of the iconic hard rock group, has been unable to perform on the majority of the band's first tour in more than three decades due to ongoing health concerns. According to drummer, vocalist and cofounder Gil Moore, the veteran musician continues to deal with an undetermined physical condition that has kept him off the road.
"It's just an ongoing process, hoping that he's going to be able to rejoin. Thus far he has not," Moore said.

"I'd say [there 's] a slim chance we'll still see him before the end of this run," Moore explained. "I don't want to mislead people, you know? He's got a struggle that he's working his way through, health-wise."
Levine's absence has been deeply felt by both his bandmates and longtime fans. Moore said he remains in regular contact with the bassist and continues to monitor his progress.
According to Moore, Levine's son Matthew has attended several tour stops and has even appeared onstage to interact with concertgoers while the band waits for news regarding Levine's recovery.
"I'm going to attempt to play as many shows as I can," Levine said at the time. "I have a problem with my hand that precludes me from being able to really play well. That is a big issue. I don't want to go up there and not be able to execute properly."
Despite being away from the stage, Levine has closely followed Triumph's performances and has praised the musicians helping carry the tour forward.
Levine, born in Toronto on June 1, 1949, helped form Triumph alongside Moore and Emmett in the mid-1970s. Throughout the band's career, he contributed bass, keyboards, backing vocals, songwriting and production work, appearing on all 10 of Triumph's studio albums.
