The Mare Nostrum Tour wrapped up on Sunday, and for the first time, Dutch swimmer Marrit Steenbergen did not earn the most money. New Zealand’s Erika Fairweather won €1,600 after she broke the Mare Nostrum Record in the women’s 400 freestyle to earn an extra €950.

Ilya Kharun earned the 2nd most money with €1,350 after he broke the Barcelona stop record in the men’s 50 butterfly.

Marrit Steenbergen and Caspar Corbeau both earned an additional €600 for swimming the top World Aquatics point times for men and women. Steenbergen swam 51.97 in the women’s 100 freestyle to score 985 points while Corbeau scored 931 points with his 2:08.50 in the men’s 200 breaststroke.
