The Hammond Police Department in northwest Indiana has activated an Amber alert for a six-month-old girl last seen early Thursday morning and believed to be in “extreme danger.”
Devaeyah Lucas-Bell is 22 inches tall and 16 pounds with black hair with brown eyes. She was last seen at 4:20 a.m. wearing a white shirt and brown pants.
The suspect, Deandry Sabbs, 31, is six feet, two inches tall and 208 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a gray, four-door Nissan sedan with unknown Illinois license plates, police said.
Anyone with information was asked to contact the Hammond Police Department at 219-852-6357 or 911.
