A man is facing murder and gun charges in connection with a fatal early-morning Edgewater shooting earlier this week, police announced Saturday.
Ammar Houssamo, 53, was charged with first-degree murder and aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon, police announced. He was arrested in Evanston shortly after shots rang out in the 1400 block of West Thome around 7:20 a.m. Thursday, police said.
