While a pair of inquisitors, Marrok and The Eleventh Brother, have featured throughout the show, one of the main questions on fans' lips is whether Darth Vader would make an appearance.
This Vader is silent throughout, almost like a horror villain at times, raw and unrestrained. It offers a glimpse at some of the most brutal Darth Vader action across animation or live-action. Whether he will cross paths with Maul again remains to be seen.
Who dies in the Maul Shadow Lord season 1 finale?
The two Jedi in the show, Master Eeko-Dio Daki and Devon Izara, seemed the most likely casualties, given they don’t feature in other Star Wars media.
He lost a bruising battle with Vader after being left on his own by Maul. With Vader at points fighting all three force users, Daki on his own stood little chance. With Devon witnessing this, it looks set to be a major point of development for her moving forward.
The other major casualty in the finale was Captain Brander Lawson, the main non-force user in the show. He sacrificed his cover to help Rylee and Two Boots reach the safety of the Crimson Dawn ship. Whilst we don’t see him die, leaving open a possible return. It is heavily implied.

Surprisingly, there is no mid- or post-credits scene, meaning we will have to wait for our first glimpse of where the story is headed next.
