The filmmaker and producer is listing his $57 million mansion in Beverly Hills, as well as his Jackson Hole, Wyoming, home. Both properties are reportedly worth $96.5 million.
The Beverly Hills property spans 22.5 acres and is located within the gated Beverly Ridge Estates community. The home itself has eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a library, a private movie theater, a bar, a swimming pool, a guesthouse, separate quarters for staff, and multiple spaces to entertain. Perry originally bought the land in 2004 for $4.3 million and completed the mansion in 2012.

Over the years, the Beverly Hills house has been a welcoming home for many celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey and former President Barack Obama. Notably, Prince Harry and Megan Markle once called the property home following their exit from the Royal Family and leaving the United Kingdom. The couple originally moved to Canada, but when their location was revealed, Perry offered his Beverly Hills home in 2020 and much-needed security for them and their son, Archie. Perry started his career in 1990 when he moved to Atlanta and performed in community theater plays. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, he wrote and produced many plays, but his breakthrough performance came with Diary of a Mad Black Woman, which he wrote and produced as an adaptation of his stage play of the same name. Outside of his own productions, Perry has been cast in multiple films, including Star Trek, Alex Cross, Gone Girl, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Vice and Don’t Look Up. He is best known as the creator and performer of Mabel “Madea” Simmons, a tough elderly woman, and also portrays her brother Joe Simmons and her nephew Brian Simmons.

“[I’m] moving to Puerto Rico at the top of the year, and I’m pulling back a whole lot,” he told reporter Justin Sylvester. He also celebrated his birthday that month, and said that the decision came as he grows older. “It’s time to slow down a bit, enjoy more time with my son and just take it all in.”
