McDonald was in the green room last night in Pittsburgh despite not hearing his name called in the first round. He returned tonight and was rewarded for his patience. Houston’s trade-up provided him a quick exit from the green room in the second round.
McDonald was a First-team AP All-American, Big Ten Conference defensive lineman of the year, All-Big Ten, and a finalist for the Outland Trophy—awarded to the nation’s top interior lineman) for the Buckeyes in 2025.
