BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Sabres will head to Boston with their playoff series against the Bruins tied 1-1 after a loss in game two on Tuesday night.
News10NBC Sports was at the KeyBank Center for the game, which ended with a 4-2 loss. Buffalo went into the third period trailing 4-0. Sabres defenseman Bowen Byram and centre Peyton Krebs both scored in that period, but unlike game one, they were unable to complete a late-game comeback. Sabres head coach Lindy Ruff said he’s looking forward to game three in the team’s first playoff series in 15 years.
“You’re not going to win every game. They got to experience a playoff win. Now you experience a loss. We’ve been a good road team. I’m looking forward to going to Boston,” he said.
