PHOENIX — Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll was removed from Sunday’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays at Chase Field due to low back tightness.

Carroll did not go back out on defense at the start of the fifth inning after he spoke with the trainer and manager Torey Lovullo in the dugout. He appeared to rub his lower back area while on the field in the fourth inning.
Carroll missed a pair of games last weekend on Arizona’s East Coast road trip due to a tight left hip flexor but has been productive after returning.
The two-time All-Star hit the go-ahead grand slam in Saturday’s win, entering Sunday having hit .304 with three doubles and a home run over his previous six games.
Jorge Barrosa entered Sunday’s game for Carroll.
