Goodwin exited the game with 6:54 remaining in the second quarter and went to the locker room before being ruled out at the half. He scored two points in five minutes played, dealing with early foul trouble matched up against Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Entering Sunday’s game, Goodwin was coming off a strong performance in Friday’s play-in game against the Golden State Warriors, scoring 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting, grabbing nine rebounds with six steals and two assists in the Suns’ 111-96 win.
