ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester police say a stolen car heading the wrong way, hit a school bus on the city’s northeast side on Saturday afternoon. The car was then abandoned afterwards as the suspects fled, police added.
Webster police officers say the BMW car was stolen previously.
Police also say the car was going the wrong way, driving west on Farbridge Street, a one-way street, as it crashed into a school bus which was heading north on Remington Street.
The passengers and bus driver were uninjured, according to police.
After the crash, the car went north on Remington Street when police say the occupants left the car as it was still in motion. The car continued to roll north when it hit an unoccupied parked vehicle on Remington Street.
No suspects have been arrested yet, the report mentions.
Traffic has since been reopened.
