SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Tuesday will be very similar to Monday, almost copy and paste conditions for the Central Coast. Temperatures are expected to cool slightly, about 1-3 degrees depending on your micro climate.
Areas of low clouds and marine layer are expected to start the morning due to an increase of onshore flow. By midday the region can expect bright and warm skies once again. Temperatures will be in the 60s and 70s with the interior areas in the 80s.
A wind advisory is still in place along the Gaviota coast until 8 a.m. Wind speeds will be 25-35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. It is expected to calm as the morning progresses. Light winds will continue for the region, but will remain below advisory levels.
Wednesday is still on track to be the warmest day of week as temperatures warm about 4-8 degrees due to a northerly push.
By Thursday, high pressure will weaken and a trough of low pressure will build in bringing rain chances for Friday. Currently the rain system looks to be a quick moving system and will bring periods of light to moderate rain on Friday. Rain chances did increase for areas south of Point conception. I am confident the region will see rain at some point from Friday and Saturday. Plan your weekend accordingly with rain in the forecast!
