Nebula Esports found their rhythm late in the BGIS 2026 Grand Finals, but according to IGL AADI, the lesson learned was simple: play for the love of the game. In this interview with InsideSport, Aditya “Aadi” Dawar discusses the absence of Kratos in the opening matches, the team’s refusal to change their lineup during the current transfer window, and their singular goal of bringing home a trophy in the upcoming BMPS season.
Nebula Esports comes #10 at BGIS 2026
In first do days we saw dip in your performance as compared to survival stage, what was the reason?
Aadi – Something went wrong on our end. We overthought things heading into the finals and weren’t in the right headspace, which led to a subpar performance. As a result, fans didn’t see the same NEBULA ESPORTS that usually delivers a great performance every time.
View this post on InstagramWhy Kratos was not available in starting matches of Grand Finals, did this actually affected your performance?
Aadi – Obviously, it did not benefit us much. There was a specific reason behind benching Kratos and bringing Ryu into the playing four for the first day of the finals. That is in the past now. We are currently preparing for the BGMI Pro Series, also known as BMPS 2026.
On last day of BGIS 2026, Nebula Esports shown their usual (dominant) perfomance. What strategy helps you in this?
Aadi – On the final day, we decided that we would accept whatever the results might be and just go with the flow. We overthought our strategy during Day 1 and Day 2 of the BGIS 2026 Grand Finals, so on the last day, we simply played to enjoy the game. After all, we play because we truly love gaming.
