That dropped 0.91 seconds off her lifetime best 2:17.66 that she swam in July at Futures in Greensboro. Her time tonight sits just outside of the top 100 all-time in the 13-14 age group as it takes a 2:16.52 to make the top 100 all-time.
Antonina Biegajlo was 4th in the 200 free earlier this week but swam to a win in the 50 free here with a 26.60. Biegajlo swims for Florida State and represents Denmark at the international level.
Cincinnati commit Nina Heron swam to a win in the 200 breast touching in a 2:39.15. She won by over four seconds as Addison Ebol was 2nd in a 2:43.21. Heron’s lifetime best is a 2:37.18. Ohio State commit Shannon Conway won the girls 400 free in a 4:22.93, just a second off her lifetime best 4:21.85. The final win on the girls side came from Paige Addleman who won the 100 back in a 1:05.20, dropping over two seconds off her previous best time of a 1:07.77.
Leading the way on the boys side was Daniel Branon who won two events on the night. Branon began the night with a 2:04.23 200 fly. Branon, a Virginia commit, has been as fast as 2:00.82. Branon swam to another win later in the session, winning the 100 back in a 58.75, dropping 0.96 from his previous best 59.71 from last May.
After winning the 800 free to open the meet, 16 year old Avery Heron won the boys 400 free in a 4:04.63. That dropped 1.29 seconds off his entry time 4:05.92 that he swam in July at Futures in Greensboro.
Gabriel Olszyk, a Division III Amherst College commit, dropped over a second in his win in the 200 breast as he touched in a 2:21.68. His previous best was a 2:23.05. He had a strong SCY 200 breast earlier this month with a 2:03.34.
Also earning a win was Antonie Pieterse who competes collegiately for Division II Robert Wesleyan. Pieterse won the 50 free in a 23.51.
