The Elite 8 matchup between No. 1 Arizona and No. 2 Purdue is set for Saturday at 5:49 p.m. MST in San Jose.

The game will be televised on TBS and truTV during the first day of the NCAA Tournament regional finals.

Arizona last qualified for the Elite 8 in the 2014-15 season under the leadership of Sean Miller.

This is the first time under coach Tommy Lloyd that Arizona has advanced to the Elite 8 after reaching the Sweet 16 in three of his first four years.

If there was a year for Arizona to win its first national championship since 1996-97, this would be the year to do it. The Wildcats were a top team in the nation this season and posted a 16-2 record against Quad 1 schools.
