The landlord claims American Craft Distilling didn’t pay rent for this month and removed some equipment in a way that damaged the property. Not all the equipment is out, meaning the landlord can’t rent to a new tenant yet.

The landlord is demanding more than $625,000 in damages.

Back in July, the company said it would have to close because of a downturn in the alcohol market. It was momentarily revived by an investment from a Kentucky company.
