When I travel, I struggle with what charging devices to take. I always have my phone, earbuds, and watch with me. In the past, I’ve taken my Anker 3-in-1 Cube, but it’s a little heavy. That’s why I’m glad Anker has a new Prime charging device that can replace the Cube for travel.

The Anker Prime Wireless Charging Station is designed to simplify charging for Apple users who rely on multiple devices throughout the day. Built with portability and performance in mind, this compact charging station can power an iPhone, Apple Watch, and wireless earbuds simultaneously while maintaining a clean, organized setup on a desk or nightstand.

At the center of the design is Qi2 magnetic charging, which provides fast and reliable wireless power while keeping the iPhone securely aligned for optimal efficiency. The foldable form factor allows the charger to collapse into a compact travel-friendly block, making it easy to slip into a bag or backpack without taking up much space. When unfolded, it becomes a stable charging stand that supports comfortable viewing angles for notifications, StandBy mode, or video calls.

To maintain consistent performance, Anker integrates an active cooling system that helps regulate temperature during high-speed charging. This helps reduce heat buildup and allows the charger to sustain faster charging speeds over longer periods.

Whether used at home, in the office, or while traveling, the Anker Prime 25W Foldable 3-in-1 Wireless Charger provides a streamlined way to keep essential Apple devices powered throughout the day.

Pricing & Availability

The Anker Prime Wireless Charging Station has a list price of $149.99 and is available from anker.com and Amazon. At the time of publishing, Amazon was offering the charger for $119.99.

User Experience

This charging station comes in a classic Anker Prime retail box. It’s primarily black with a high-quality image of the product on the front. The 3-in-1 charging station comes with 45W Anker power adapter, USB-C cable, and quick start guide. Setting it up is just as simple as unfolding the charging station and plugging it in. While it’s compact for travel, it feels very well-made.

The charger unfolds and folds up for travel very easily. One of the unique features of the charging station is how the Apple Watch charger is spring-loaded and has a push release function to it. Anker included paper circle stickers to place on the Apple Watch charger. These are optional, but they do help keep the watch in place since the charger is magnetic, but not as strong as MagSafe.

I was very glad to see the inclusion of the power adapter. So often these days, charging devices do not include a power adapter, but require a certain wattage in order to achieve their published charging times. I don’t like when a company expect the user to have the right adapter. It’s almost as if the company is setting the device up to fail with that sort of expectation. So, I’m glad that Anker included one.

In order to test how well the charger works, I completed a real-world timed test. I placed all three devices (iPhone 16 Pro, Apple Watch Series 8, and AirPods Pro Gen 2) onto the charging station and let them charge for 30 minutes. Every 10 minutes, I would check to see how much the devices gained and then at the conclusion of the test, I estimated there charging rate.

Battery % StartBattery % EndBattery % GainedCharging Rate (per minute)iPhone 16 Pro23%63%40%1.33%Apple Watch Series 818%74%56%1.87%AirPods Pro Gen 216%61%45%1.50%

The iPhone gained 40% in 30 minutes, which lands just slightly below ideal lab-condition claims of around 50% in the same timeframe. In practice, this is a strong result. Because the test began at 23% rather than near empty, the charging curve had already started to taper. Even so, the sustained rate over the full 30 minutes indicates consistent power delivery without early slowdown.

The Apple Watch performed exactly as expected for fast charging, pacing toward roughly 80% in about 45 minutes. It showed no signs of inefficiency or throttling.

AirPods Pro charging came in a bit under peak expectations, but still well within the normal range for wireless charging. Earbud cases are more sensitive to coil alignment and tend to fluctuate more than phones, so this result is not surprising.

In addition to timing the battery percentage gained, I also checked the temperature of each wireless charging area after the test was over. After 30 minutes of simultaneous charging, all three devices remained well within safe temperature ranges. The iPhone peaked at just under 99°F, which is notably cooler than many wireless chargers that often exceed 100°F under similar loads. The Apple Watch and AirPods Pro stayed in the low-to-mid 90s, indicating efficient power delivery across all charging points.

More importantly, the relatively low temperature on the iPhone helps explain the consistent charging rate observed during testing. Unlike many wireless chargers that slow down as heat builds, this system maintains performance without significant thermal throttling.

Conclusion

The Anker Prime Qi2 25W Foldable 3-in-1 Wireless Charger strikes an impressive balance between portability and performance. It delivers on its promise of fast, reliable charging while maintaining a compact form factor that makes it easy to take on the road. While the price is on the higher end, the combination of build quality, thoughtful design, and dependable performance makes it a compelling option for Apple users who want a single, travel-friendly charging solution.
